Lamont Price is a Boston-based comedian who has appeared in every major festival including: Montreal Just for Laughs, Rooftop Comedy Aspen Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, NY Comedy Festival, Women in Comedy Festival and Rogue Island Comedy Festival just to name a few. He has been featured in Hulu’s “Triumph The Insult Comic Dog’s Election Special”, “NPR: Bullseye with Jesse Thorn”, “Funny Or Die’s Oddball Comedy Tour” and has recently has been named to “Comedy Central’s Comics to Watch”. BETHANY VAN DELFT
Bethany Van Delft’s “hip & grounded, laid back delivery” has earned her the honor of performing at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, SF Sketchfest, All Jane Festival, as well as appearances on Comedy Central, TV Guide Channel, NickMom, and 2 Dope Queens podcast. Her "series at the Women in Comedy Festival "38/7%" was a huge hit, and monthly show, Artisanal Comedy, has been named “one of the top indie nights to check out”. Her hilariously cringeworthy storytelling show/podcast with co-producer Nick Chambers, “Starstruck: Close Encounters of the Awkward Kind”, won Best Comedy Night in Boston from Improper Bostonian. Unashamedly in touch with her inner nerd, Bethany has been a panelist on “You’re The Expert” and “Literary Death Match”. She hosts MOTH Mainstages around the country, MOTH StorySlams & Grandslams, is thrilled to have a MOTH story re-posted by SULU! TOOKY KAVANAGH
With razor sharp wit and a charm once described as “ineffable,” Tooky (rhymes with cookie) Kavanagh speaks her mind with honesty, charisma, and edge. After just a few years on the scene, Tooky has already performed in New York, Denver, CO, and all over New England. Her standup credits include: December 2018 Comic-In-Residence at The Comedy Studio; The 2017 Women In Comedy Festival; Thunderfest 2017; The 2017 Boston Comedy Festival; Boston Comedy Chicks; The 2017 Boston Comedy Arts Festival; headlining It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Dover; headlining Stand-Up Thursdays at John Harvard’s; co-producing Token: Rethink What Comedy Can Be at ImprovBoston; featuring at The Producer’s Club; and Comic Sit-In at The Riot Theater. She’s opened for Myq Kaplan and Eugene Mirman, and has performed on lineups alongside comedy notables Gary Gulman, Jessica Kirson, and Alingon Mitra, to name a few. In March of 2018 and 2019, she was selected to perform on the Comedy Central UP NEXT audition showcase, and in both April 2018 and February 2019, she was selected to audition for the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs festival. As an actor, she’s a regular cast member of the Redo Crew for Starstruck: Close Encounters of the Awkward Kind, starred as The Humbled Hobo in a 48 Hour Film Project film, is a featured character in the short film Woman Unknown, and is a recurring character in the upcoming web series, Paid For By. JIAYONG LI
Jiayong Li bid farewell to his family in Beijing and embarked on a journey of mathematical study at MIT. Along the way, he came upon stand-up comedy, and started delivering his cerebral material in a calm and comfortable voice. He was one of the New Faces at Montreal Just for Laughs in 2017. |
VICTORIA AWKWARD
Boston-based Victoria Lynn Awkward is an emerging artist whose work focuses on dance, visual arts, and empowerment. She holds a degree in Visual and Performing Art Education from Goucher College, where she worked with artists including Sidra Bell, Christian Von Howard, Ronen Koresh, Helen Simoneau, Iyun Ashani Harrison, and Iquail Shaheed. As an independent artist, she has performed with Ashani Dances, Attn: Dance, Boston Dance Theater, The Davis Sisters, Heather Stewart, and Ruckus Dance. She is also a teacher with Midday Movement and a freelance photographer. Victoria is the Director of VLA DANCE a contemporary dance company that aims to empower artists and audience members alike through physically demanding dance. JENNA MIXNER
Jenna is a recent Dean College graduate and is very excited to join the cast of Laugh Track. Jenna started dancing at the age of 3 under the direction of former Radio City Music Hall Rockette, Carolyn Dutra in Warwick, Rhode Island. After high school she decided to pursue a career in the dance field and continued her education at Dean College where she earned her Bachelor’s in Dance Performance and Choreography. During her time at Dean, Jenna choreographed more than 10 of her own pieces to be shown on the stage, as well as assisted in producing a show her senior year. She has also performed in original works by Bill Evans, Kristina Berger, Jeremy Howes, Todd Shanks, and more in Dean College’s Dance Company. Aside from performing sporadically, Jenna is an Assistant Coach of the Braintree High School Dance Team as well as a staff member at multiple dance studios in Massachusetts. |
ERIN MCNULTY
Erin McNulty is a Boston-based contemporary dance artist and educator. She is dedicated to exploring sensory, dynamic, and intimately informed movement languages; and celebrating diverse voices through dance and the expressive physical toolbox it offers. Erin holds a B.S. from Boston University, and a Postgraduate Diploma from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music & Dance in London. She has performed with companies including Kairos Dance Theater, Zoe Dance Company, Kelley Donovan & Dancers, and Paula Josa-Jones/Performance Works, and has presented her own work on stage and film extensively in the greater Boston area including as a 2018 New England Dance Fund award recipient. Erin has taught ballet, contemporary/modern, improvisation, and creative movement/composition to youth and adults in studios, schools, and community centers alike. She is currently on dance faculty at Boston University and Wilmington Dance Academy, and serves as a Lead Teaching Artist & Instructional Coach with Boston Ballet’s Education & Community Initiatives. |
RACHEL LINSKY
Rachel Linsky is a Boston based dancer, choreographer, and educator who holds a B.F.A. in Dance from Elon University. She most recently performed in Ten Tiny Dances at the Dance Complex, and danced this past summer with Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. She has performed works by artists including Jose Limón, Louis Gaspard, Jackie Nowicki, & Trent Williams. Some of her recent choreographic credits include: Christine Evan’s “Trojan Barbie” directed by Kim Shively, Ten Tiny Dances, Boston Contemporary Dance Festival, and the North Carolina Dance Education Organization Conference. Rachel is excited to be part of the Laugh Track cast! |
SMITA NETRA
Smita Netra is a trained dancer in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary and Bollywood. She was a part of Shiamak Davar International for 17 years which involved thorough and professional training in these dance forms. In addition to training, she has taught several workshops and has choreographed for companies such as Boston Bollywood. Her dance career has taken her to corporate and award shows globally! |
SASHA PETERSON
Sasha Peterson currently lives and grew up dancing in the Boston area. In 2016, she completed a dance major at Connecticut College, through which she had the privilege of learning from and performing works by dance faculty as well as guests Kyle Abraham, Ronald K. Brown, Wendell Cooper, Nina Flagg of Rennie Harris Puremovement, Molly Lieber/Eleanor Smith, Kendra Portier, and Doug Varone. She has danced at Ali Kenner Brodsky & Co., Betsy Miller Dance Projects, Grant Jacoby & Dancers, and with Lisa Race, apprenticed at David Dorfman Dance, and is a company member at Ruckus Dance. |
MITZI EPPLEY
Hailing from farms in the Midwest, Mitzi Eppley first studied at BalletMet Academy in Columbus, OH from childhood to the pre-professional level and had the privilege to taste many forms of dance. Mitzi continued her studies at The Boston Conservatory, there she began delving into the concepts of anatomy, physiology, neurology and how they connect in a moving/dancing body. She also worked in the Costume Shop as a stitcher and was promoted to Dance Stock Manager for her last three years of school. Mitzi’s travels in Europe lead her to explore formless and non- structured studies on her own, along with physically intensive and contact-based trajectories. Working with these humans has had a heavy influence on her physical qualities, movement appetite, and mental computation of physics on the body in motion. Since graduating magna cum laude, she has worked professionally with Boston Dance Theater, Dance Currents Inc., Junichi Fukuda, Kelley Donovan and Dancers, as well as other local projects. In Wardrobe and Production, Mitzi has worked with Odyssey Opera, the Institute of Contemporary Art, and World Music/CRASHarts (now named “Global Arts Live”). She currently works as dancer, costume designer, and wardrobe tech for VLA DANCE and Heather Stewart Dance. A mover and administrator with “DanceNite;” a multitude of artists collaborating to create an improvisational experience. |
